Some filmmakers have an uncanny way of finding the poetry of the spaces in between. That’s what we’re really digging about the latest video from “dream pop” act Wild Nothing. Shot on Japanese Harinezumi cameras in LA, New York, St. Maarten and Niagara Falls, the clip perfectly captures the romantic ennui of the road. You might also recognize the clip’s star, Michelle Williams, who joined Jack Tatum in the studio for the monologue you hear on the track. Accessorized in her Ray-bans and a well-thumbed hardbound book, Michelle appears as the ultimate cassette tape queen, the kind of girl who will have you daydreaming at 30,000 feet.
Sverige—catch Wild Nothing now! He’ll be at Malmo’s Debaser tonight, before heading to Goteborg and Stockholm this week.
