It’s a good time to be Rick Ross. In addition to his song, “100 Coffins” being featured in Quentin Tarantino’s Djanjo Unchained, his last album God Forgives, I Don’t was one of the top rap releases of 2012. If that wasn’t enough, recently the rapper landed a role on the Starz drama “Magic City” as boss of an illegal gambling ring.
Today, the Teflon Don dropped a three minute trailer for his next album, Mastermind, out later this year.
The artfully-shot clip features all the elements we’ve come to expect from the rapper/fictional crime boss: Beautiful women, great cribs, suitcases of money, booze, weed and most importantly great music. The trailer features samples of Curtis Mayfield’s “Give Me Your Love (Love Song)”.
We love the music and myth that Rick Ross has created and can’t wait to share more news about Mastermind. For now, enjoy the clip!
